Haven't been hit once since I got this!
It's annoying when squirrels and birds keep running into you, especially when you're eating and walking. I've lost more scoops of pistachio ice cream than I care to recall. Five second rule doesn't apply outside, at least not for me. However, since getting this vest it's truly like the seas have been parted. No more are squirrels and birds running into me.
