Black regular cartridge
I’ve had issues with the black link cartridge drying up too quickly before being used. I’ve had to replace the black ink cartridge in order for my HP printer to print because of the bad cartridge.

Good product, delivered quickly
Starting buying my HP printer ink online during COVID-19 shutdown in 2020. Ink is delivered in 3-4 days. Wish regular black ink cartridges would last a little longer.

Defective Cartridge..?
Simple install and good quality ink. However I may have received a defective unit since I was only able produce approx. 55 pages. Staples was able to swap it out for replacement.

That sounds very frustrating. I’m sorry that that happened to you. It is likely that the printer is not getting a good connection with the cartridge and that is why it doesn't recognize it.
The contacts on the cartridge might be smudged or damaged. Carefully polish the copper contacts on the cartridge (and the matching ones inside the printer) with lint-free material to get off fingerprints or dust.
