Black regular cartridge
I’ve had issues with the black link cartridge drying up too quickly before being used. I’ve had to replace the black ink cartridge in order for my HP printer to print because of the bad cartridge.

Great HP ink
I’ve never had a problem with HP ink. It was nice having my ink delivered to my house, instead of driving different to buy ink.

HP 65 black
Ink is ink, works fine. One thing that annoys me is that the Desk Jet 2640 un-necessarily burns up ink with the testing. NOT NEEDED. Sometimes it want's to do it over and over. Re-testing alignment should be an optional choice.

Sorry to say...
With this cartridge my printer started printing a broad (2 - 3") black band across the top of every first page then diminishing the width every page or so until finally that band cleared. If I let the printer rest for a while it would do it again at starting up again.

Damaged in shipment? No, it works well!
I was worried that the 65XL Black cartridge was damaged in shipment. That package looked like it had tire tracks on it. But I installed it in my printer and it works quite well. The box that the cartridge came in protected the cartridge quite well. The product performs a little better than expected in my experience.
