Black regular cartridge
I’ve had issues with the black link cartridge drying up too quickly before being used. I’ve had to replace the black ink cartridge in order for my HP printer to print because of the bad cartridge.

Turn off you’re your printer if you print intermittently. 2. Run regular printer maintenance. 3. Clean the printheads. 4. Use the grayscale or black ink only setting. 5. Why so expensive
I suppose my only concern and biggest one is why ink costs more than the printer itself. I help several seniors do their taxes and so I need to provide a paper copy for them. Tax time is about the only time I need to buy ink..it doesn’t make sense.

Hello Lisa The quality of our ink is important as we want our customers to be satisfied. I'm sorry you were not happy with this cartridge. Increasing the print quality resolves the issue if the ink is light or spotty. It will use more ink though. To extend the life of the cartridge: Avoid printing in color.
