These pens write very smooth. I prefer retractable pens but the smooth writing and smooth barrel make up for not being retractable.

This pen is absolutely not worth buying. I have a difficult time using with this pen because the ink breaks in between writing. It has a rough feel to it. It is not how it was described about this product.

Avoid! Not smooth at all.
Has to be one of the worst pens I've ever used. It actually scratches the paper instead of smoothly writing on it. I removed the tip protector on one. Figured it might be a dud. Removed it on a second one same scratching the paper as you're writing with it. Returned.

Favorite pens on sale
These are my favorite generic pens and due to their package being discontinued were on a massive mark down. So even better haven't even worked thru my first 4 year old 12 pack and just grabbed 3 more 24 packs.

I had a very hartdtime getting them to work until I figured out there was a closing that had to be removed at the tip of the pens. DUH!!!

Pretty good pen for the price
Decent gel pen. It doesn't write well on thermal paper receipts and such. It does fine elsewhere without skipping. Larger barrel than other brands of stick gel pens.
