False advertising
The add was for two packages. I received one package with a tricolor cartridge and a black cartridge. I believe their add was misleading.

Ink Cartridge
I didn't know what cartridge number I needed and I had bought my printer from Staples. So he looked it up and selected the correct box for me and it was a 2 pk which I wanted. Happy with everything!!

Hello Luke I am sorry about your experience with this ink cartridge. We always want our customers to get full use of their ink cartridges. Here is a list of actions to prevent the ink from drying out or running out in the future. • The ink lasts based on printer use. Some types of printing cause more ink use. These include color printing thick paper large-size designs and more. If you can use black ink when possible. • Your printer use affects the cartridge. Leaving the printer on while idle increases the chance your ink dries out quicker. To get the most pages out of each cartridge turn off the printer when you are not actively printing. • Carefully planning each print saves on ink. Use the draft mode. I love HP printers
I always look to Staples to replenish my HP printer inks. Delivery right to your takes less than 2 days. The HP ink tends to clog and dry out if you don't use your printer at least once a month.

Margin of profit is way too high for these things. Chips in the cartridge for the sole purpose of preventing the use of cheaper alternate ink.
