False advertising
The add was for two packages. I received one package with a tricolor cartridge and a black cartridge. I believe their add was misleading.

Too Expensive!
I am an amateur watercolorist. I use a printer to make cards and prints from my original paintings to sell. I never get as many prints as the ink cartridge is suppose to print, and it tends to make everything too blue. I can't get a halfway descent print unless I use the "best" quality on my printer. And the ink is way too expensive!

Printer cartridge did NOT work
I bought this product and when it came, it didn't work. I went through all the troubleshooting on the HP mobile app and the cartridge was still a dud. I even installed the old cartridge to make sure that was the issue and the printer accepted it with no issue. I would like a new cartridge or my money back.

Great ink
It may cost a bit more but I feel like the ink is fresher and always in stock at Staples. Our local drugstore has not had it in and we needed it sooner than later. I set up an account to buy other supplies we needed which we did buy more ink recently and had it delivered to the house.

My current HP printer will probably be my last. The printer itself is flimsy and hemorrhages the overpriced ink. The dark cartridge makes it impossible to check the volume but it seems I’m always replacing one or the other cartridge.

I can’t type.
I bought this printer a year ago. I do not use my printer often, so I should be able to print no matter how often I use my printer. Something is wrong with my printer. I’m not understanding why it doesn’t work. It should be working, I’ve got ink and paper. What else is needed?

Hi,
I am sorry that you had this problem. If you checked the ink levels and found no ink, the cartridge could have been defective, or the maintenance routines might have caused this. A few drops of ink here and there are used to keep the inkjets cleared and ready for your next print job. Over a period of time, they can add up.
On the other hand, if you do have ink in the cartridge, it is probable that the tiny inkjets are clogged and not allowing ink through to the paper. There is a cleaning routine available from the printer's menu used to clear them out. The routine might need to be run more than once to clean out the clogs completely.
To prevent these problems:
- Turn the printer off when it is not being used
- Always use the power button on the printer itself to turn your printer off. That gives it time to position the cartridge so it is protected from excessive drying, which leads to clogs.
