False advertising
The add was for two packages. I received one package with a tricolor cartridge and a black cartridge. I believe their add was misleading.

Ink quality degrades while cartridge is still half or mostly full
Works great initially. It's a nice solid black. But the ink somehow goes bad even when cartridge is still half full. Cleaning and aligning do little to improve the quality. I have to replace the ink long before the cartridge is empty due to very poor quality. I don't know why this happens.

The xl gives your printing a boost!
Hp Tri-color high yield ink cartridges make printing and worrying about the cartridge changing so much easier. Almost twice the ink as the regular 64 cartridges.
