False advertising
The add was for two packages. I received one package with a tricolor cartridge and a black cartridge. I believe their add was misleading.

defective
The cartridge was defective and I need to get a replacement. (i hope I don't have a problem with that exchange. The problem was I needed to get a computer tech to locate and fix the problem. Fortunately I had another cartridge to replace it.

Very upset
I cannot be more disappointed than I am with the ink subscription service. I paid and paid the subscription but rarely received any ink. Now that I have canceled the subscription HP has turn off my printer which I cannot use without buying these expensive "HP" inks.
I'm looking elsewhere for a new printer.

Hi Pat You mention that you received poor results. It's a shame that the cartridge wasn't working well. Without a receipt a return is difficult. Still there may be a path to fixing the cartridge. Start by gently dabbing the printhead. This action cleans old ink off the printhead. Then try adjusting the printer settings especially relating to the print and style. Hi there Howard If you are disappointed in the number of pages remedies are available. Start by planning every page. If you can avoid photos. Photos graphics and diagrams use a ton of ink. The next step is to take a look at the printer settings. Small adjustments can make significant differences. I would also check each new cartridge and ensure it is 100% when installed. Need XL in color
I got these only because I had a big printing job. Used one entire color pack for 31 pages. Not cost effective but when desperate you do what you have to do.
