I am not sure if it is the ink or the printer which is awful the quality of the printing is no where nearly as good as previous printers I have had. I will not be buying another HP.

The lady at the check- out told me the correct ink to purchase. I was going to get the ink cartridge with just the BLACK ink ( because all I needed was business info printed). She told me that I needed the box with all 3 colors and the black dots. She was absolutely correct!

Hi there Evan Oh no! A cartridge that doesn't print can be challenging and time-consuming. Have you tried resetting the printer? Resetting the printer often resolves this problem. Another strategy is to clean the cartridge especially after printing for a while. Use a damp cloth to clean the printhead. Arrived, installed, printer did not work. It was faulty. Called HP Customer Care. After 45 min on a phone HP agreed to send a new one. New ink arrived in 5 days, installed and printer works now.
