new printer ink run
HP discontinued the ink needed for my current printer thus forcing me to buy a new printer. The new printer came with ink cartridges but they didn't last long. So thank you for noticing I was buying new ink.

Back up insurance
After purchasing a printer, I allowed myself to be talked into purchasing a extra black cartridge under the reasoning that black ink usage is heavier,(generally), than color. I really didn't need this as my printer needs are low, (less than 50 pages/month). Still, it's nice to have JUST IN CASE.

HP 67XL Tri-Color cartridges
Staples is the only store I've recently found in the Waterloo IA area that offers the HP 67XL Tri-color High Yield cartridges individually. It's nice to be able to purchase these cartridges separately from the Tri-Color & Black two-pack. I use a lot more black ink than the tri-color.
