Hi Crystal I am sorry you were disappointed with the cartridges on multiple fronts. If you are replacing cartridges frequently check out the print quality settings. Having higher settings could lead to empty cartridges earlier. As for the leaky cartridges I am sure that wasn't fun! Occasionally there will be a defective cartridge. If the cartridge explodes during insertion into the printer it might be the way you put them in. Gently insert the cartridge until you hear a click.
