Although the website for the printer says that this cartridge 67XL is the right one and despite the fact that it fit into the printer quite nicely the printer did not work. I had to get the "Instant ink" cartridge HP67/305 to get the printer to finally work. BE CAREFUL!!

ink cartridges
I am finding these cartridges are not lasting. I do about 30 pages and then the ink runs out. I have actually taken them out of the printer shook them and still no luck. Im not sure if ink is dry or it simply is empty. any suggestions?

Hello Anitajo I am disappointed to hear about your situation. I do have some suggestions. First take out the cartridge and clean the printhead with a damp cloth. That tends to work better than shaking it. I would also clean the print rollers to get off any old ink residue. If you are only getting thirty pages on each cartridge I would assess the contents of your printing. The cartridge will last less if you fill each page with texts tables designs and other items.
