Hi there JB, It is odd that the printer would report low ink about seven pages. I want to convey my apologies regarding the cartridge. I can try to figure out what is occurring. There is a slight chance that the printer is not recognizing the cartridge. If so, remove the cartridge, restart the printer, and reinsert the cartridge. You might want to search for a leak or internal printer problem, as that is occasionally the source of the problem. It may be that the cartridge is not firmly in the cartridge holder. The last option is to increase the print quality.
