HP Black Original Ink Cartridges are Great
HP black printer ink cartridge is easy to install and use. I had much more difficulty with other companies' cartridges. Also, I have printers in two states, and when I rotate between them every six months they continue to function properly.

Too expensive and goes too fast
This ink is very expensive and find I am going through it a lot faster then I did with my old model HP ink. I don’t use my printer that much these days and shouldn’t have to keep buying so much ink. Disappointing! I have a HP Envy Pro 6455. Also disappointed in the printer itself. It was much more expensive and the quality of my old one was much better.

Hi Lori I saw your review and would like to offer a few ideas. Getting less use per cartridge is a dissatisfying feeling. - If you only print occasionally it might make sense to purchase a smaller cartridge size. There is an instant ink program to automatically order you ink when you are running low. - It could be the type of documents you are printing. Images graphics powerpoint presentations and other documents with color use a lot of ink. - Use print preview to eliminate printing extra copies of a document. - It is less likely but it might be worth it to do a diagnostic check on your printer. The sales person recommended that I purchase the ink because not much ink comes with the printer. This is not true. You do not need to purchase the ink separately with the printer it can be done at a later date.

HP printer
The ink cartridge worked in my HP printer. it worked in my HP printer but the printer itself is poor. I also bought my HP printer from Staples but it has difficulty connecting to the internet. The power cord in back keeps falling off the printer.
