Wonderful to have internet
I live in a rv park with little service so I bought the NETGEAR range extender and wow it works great. I would absolutely recommend to anybody.

NIGHTMARE TO SET UP, DROPS CONNECTION EVERY 20 MINS
Setup needs to connect to Netgear website, where you must enter Netgear name and password, and your router connection name and password , and your email address. Then drops connection every 20 mins. and you must go through setup again. Had to stop using cause we got dis-connected so often.

Best product ever!
My WiFi was never able to reach my bedroom. My shows were buffering and kicking me off all the time. Now with the extender, I am able to binge my tv shows with no interruptions!!!

An adequate extender
This extender suits my needs. While it lacks an ethernet backhaul, it does well enough to provide a little extra kick for my nephew's playstation.

Great Range
We have service in basement and second story now !!! We have dragging slow service and this fixed the issue!

AC1200 WIFI Range Extender
This unit is easy to set up and works well. I've had it installed for about 2 weeks now and have not experienced any issues.

Disappointed
Works but not the best. Doesn’t give you the full speed of your internet. Even after accessing the settings and activating the 5ghz network as well. which mind you was a painful exercise to get to.
I pay for 100mbps and id be lucky to get 30 on my laptop with probably around 8mbps upload.

Poor reliability
NETGEAR Genie failed to respond so I had to wait for support team. After extender was connected, it worked with device. But after I shut down device and reopened, it connected to extender but would not re-establish router connection even though all lights were green.

Great
We have tried a few different extenders for our home. Our second story does not get good signal! This is amazing. Super easy to set up and we no longer have lag upstairs

Easy to setup
Is very easy to set up, I had no difficulty with extending the wifi range it worked seamlessly! I’m not very technically minded so 10/10 for me

Drop Outs
Everything is fine for awhile, and then the device drops out.
I reset it, it connected back for awhile and did it again. Sometime after awhile, it will connect on its own....

I replaced another brand of wifi extender. Netgear was much easier to set up and, so far, is much more stable.

Netgear Plug-in Extender
This model is Fairly simple product . Litterally plug in , wait for the box to run its course , program thru browser and use anywhere in a pretty big distance . I used it off my family across the street for about a year with no problems. I wasnt gaming or anything like that but was able to stream Netflix and check emails and what not. I give it a 4/5

Pretty good
It might be my new modem it’s glitchy. But when it’s working 60’ from the modem I get full bars.
