When I run out of a printer cartridge, it's great to have Staples in the neighborhood so I can easily get a replacement cartridge.

These cartridges are for older HP printer (8600) over 6 yrs old. I just bought a new HP for office. Cartridges much cheaper for new printer but cartridge holder system and paper tray and plastic of new printer much lower quality. I would pay more for either the printer or a tad more for new cartridge if would match the quality of my old printer and cartridge system.

Xl is the Best
Glad they have a large size ink replacement! Go thru more black than the other colors but the XL size is great it last much longer!

About the only downside of HP brand ink is that it is greatly over priced. On the positive side it has been trouble free and performs up to expectations. The XL (extended life) versions seem to be getting more and more difficult to find but they are worth the effort and extra price. Having said all that printer ink is printer ink.
