When I run out of a printer cartridge, it's great to have Staples in the neighborhood so I can easily get a replacement cartridge.

I do not do much printing & I have been advised that I am low on several colors!

HP 950XL /951 Black High Yield and Cyan/Magenta/ Yellow Standard Yield ink
The Black ink does not print dark black as new ink does til it gets very low on ink mu'lighter than new ink. I thought I had bought old ink. I called Staples...the person said it was not the fault of the ink. The color ink cartridge seems to be working fine. .

On my first few prints with the new ink it is clear that the magenta isn’t working correctly :( When I did an ink check it was streaking!

Great value for the money
The HP 950XL Black High Yield Ink Cartridge seems to last forever compared with the non-high-yield cartridges. It's definitely worth the extra money spent initially (about 1/3 more than the price of a plain HP 950) and seems to incorporate two normal cartridges' worth of ink in just one so it ends up in savings by not having to buy as many in the same amount of time...
