When I run out of a printer cartridge, it's great to have Staples in the neighborhood so I can easily get a replacement cartridge.

Disappointment
I purchased a 951 color cartridge. The magenta was empty and the cyan and yellow were only half-filled. I think that selling defective cartridges is outrageous!

Great color
The colors from the ink have always been spot on regardless of the color selected. I have been using the HP brand 950XL/951 ever since I bought my printer in 2012.

The cartrige is ok but the HP Printer horrible
We have a HP Officejet 8600 that give us so much problem, I have to restart it all the time,
it says that we have an paper jam or need a new cartridge and in fact we don't. So we had to buy few cartriges but the problem persists.
The cartriges are great, we only need a good printer.

Hi there,
I am very sorry you're having these problems with the printer. There are a couple of things you can do that might help.
There is a possibility that either or both problems could go away by resetting the printer. You do that by unplugging it while it is still on, wait a minute, and then plug it back in.
Not recognizing the cartridge can be helped by cleaning the copper contacts on the cartridge and the matching ones inside the printer. Just wipe them with lint-free material (coffee filters are good)
If nothing fixes it, as long as the warranty is in effect (usually a year), you will not get charged for normal support, so you can contact us. You can use your preferred contact method offered at: hp.com/contactHP.

I need to print
Hp cartridges always work. I’ve bought some off brands in that past that failed. When I need to print I don’t want failures.

Bad cartridges?
Printer keeps saying that the cartridge is defective and put another one in!?!? So send me another one and I’ll return this one to you. First tie it happens in years.
