When I run out of a printer cartridge, it's great to have Staples in the neighborhood so I can easily get a replacement cartridge.

no problems
i've stuck with HP ink when i bought my new printer a few years ago. i've never had any problems with the ink or the printer heads. i used off brand inks with my old printer and i had to clean the heads all the time.

HP 950XL Ink Cartridge
When buying Black Ink, I find that the HP XL Ink Cartridges offer the best selection.
Since Black Ink is the most used, it makes sense to use the XL cartridge, thus reducing
the time that one must spend doing printer maintenance.
