Good price for good new product
We already have Nest cameras so didn’t need the eye cameras, but the price for the hub was best around. I like other Wyze products and was comfortable dealing with the company.

So far I like it, I wish there was a little more detailed instructions of the capability. For example I know my doorbell cam will auto display on there when someone rings the doorbell but it would be a nice to have if any of the google cameras saw a person it would automatically come up on hub. Adds more to the day
The hub definitely adds a little more enjoyment to the day. Unknowingly, the photo display rotation is the best part but I enjoy listening to podcasts and radio while cooking and looking up some recipes as well.

Great product!
I have used it for the last 2 weeks and it's great. Except for contact syncing between the hub and your phone, sometimes changes made on phone won't be applied to the hub. Definitely recommended

Needs a better speaker
I recently got a new Nest Hub display. It's very nice for viewing things like weather radar and security cameras, but the Google Home has a much better speaker. If you're looking more to play music, I suggest the Google home or mini nest.

The Nest Hub has become the essential way we control our smart home and manage our family tasks and calendars. Works ok as a digital assistant but is sorely lacking with 3rd party cameras, video quality, and snoring data. With 3rd party cameras, it takes so long to load my 3rd party cams and the playback is so slow and glitchy that it's not even worth using for that purpose. Most of the time, video quality streaming can be affected by several factors and settings on your Wi-Fi network. We recommend performing some troubleshooting steps and see if this will improve your experience:
- Weak or congested networks. Removing some of your connected devices may help relieve congestion.
- Check for possible sources of interference such as microwave ovens, refrigerators or other equipment.
- If you have a dual band router, try setting up Nest Hub (2nd gen) on either the 2.4GHz or 5GHz bands and see which band is more stable.
- Performing a factory data reset on your Nest Hub (2nd gen) may help you improve it's streaming quality. Here's the step by step guide: https://support.google.com/googlenest/answer/7073477

Terrible google workspace integration
This would probably be a good device id it wasn't crippled. Lots of features don't work if you use Google workspace/G-Suite. I'm sad that I am forced to leave the google ecosystem so I can have smart features that work. If you are a Google Workspace user some if the things that won't work are the camera, calendar, Keep, to do, and Thermostat.

Though Google Workspace/G Suite can be still linked to your Google Home app and your Nest Hub (2nd gen), these features might or might not work. These features are dependent on the personal results settings on your Home app that Google Workspace/G Suite have limitations to.

Good product!
We've just recently become a household full of Google products and this is one of the devices in the master bedroom! Average features at a premium price

Hard to set up. Doesn't recognize lights etc that are google approved. Would not recommend.

Needs Programmable Features
This does the job but has its limitations. Most settings are only available through the Google Home app.I would also be able to manage the settings through various APIs (e.g. so I can turn off the display during certain times): Tasker and Smartthings interfaces would be very beneficial.

I use the hub in my bedroom. The light dimming is great. All of the assistant functions work perfectly. I really like the display. The one thing I'm disappointed in is that the sleep sensing function that is now free will later become a pay for item. That's not a deal breaker, but come on. Doesn't work with Google Workspace
I'm VERY frustrated that the key feature I bought this for (sleep monitoring) won't work with my personal Google Workspace (domain) account.

Google Workspace/G Suite email addresses can still be used to link to your Google Home app but it won’t have full functionality, nor can we guarantee that all features will work as intended. Sleep-sensing is dependent on the Personal Results settings on your Home app of thich Google Workspace/G Suite have limitations to. We recommend using a regular Gmail account as this will allow you to use all of the features available on your Nest Hub (2nd gen). Here are some features that rely on the Personal Results settings on your Home app.

Works horribly
Where do I start. This product doesn't work as intended 80% of the time. It either doesn't hear you, or it hears you when you aren't speaking to it, or it can't do what you're asking it to do, or it can't verify your voice even though you've voice matched like 1000 times! The 20% of the time it does work, it's great but def not worth what I paid for all my google device...

We recommend performing a factory data reset on your Nest Hub (2nd gen) and retrain your device to better recognize your voice, and see if this will improve your experience. Keep in mind that resetting Nest Hub (2nd gen) will erase all data and that you may need to set it up again after it restarts.
To reset Nest Hub (2nd gen), check on the back of Nest Hub (2nd gen), press and hold both volume buttons together for about 10 seconds. Your Nest Hub Max will let you know that it's resetting.
After the setup, you can adjust your Nest Hub's (2nd gen) mic sensitivity to the hotword. See this guide on how to adjust the mic sensitivity of your Nest Hub (2nd gen).
- Open your Google Home app
- Select your Nest Hub (2nd gen)
- At the top right, tap the Settings (Gear) icon
- Then tap Audio.
- Then tap ""Hey Google"" sensitivity and adjust the slider to make your Nest Hub (2nd gen) more responsive to the hotword.
