Good price for good new product
We already have Nest cameras so didn’t need the eye cameras, but the price for the hub was best around. I like other Wyze products and was comfortable dealing with the company.

Google nest hub
The Google nest hub will not stay linked and will not relink w/ Google home.

Not crazy about it
I’m not exactly loving the google hub. I had a google mini in my kitchen and I thought the hub would be nice to watch my YouTube subscriptions on while I cook. Well, it doesn’t display your recent subscription downloads so I have to still get on my phone and cast the video I want to watch on the hub screen.

Display has really slow response. Definitely needs a better cpu.

If you haven't tried yet, we recommend performing a factory data reset on Nest Hub (2nd gen) and see if this will improve your experience. Keep in mind that resetting your device will erase all data, and that you may need to set it up again after it restarts.
To reset Nest Hub (2nd gen), on the back of the device, press and hold both volume buttons together for about 10 seconds. Your Nest Hub will let you know that it's resetting.

Nest hub 2nd gen needs to improve
This was my first Nest Hub purchase. In my current Google ecosystem, I have two Lenovo smart displays and have been enjoying them. I wanted the ability to stream from more apps so I purchased the nest hub. So far it has done everything that my Lenovo smart displays have done and has integrated into my set up rather well. To improve the sound quality of your Nest Hub speaker, you may try the steps below:
How to adjust the volume:
- Make sure your mobile device or tablet is connected to the same Wi-Fi network or linked to the same account as your Nest display.
- Open the Google Home app.
- Tap your speaker, then adjust the volume.
How to change the audio settings of your Nest display in the Google Home app:
- Make sure your mobile device or tablet is connected to the same Wi-Fi or linked to the same account as your Nest display.
- Open the Google Home app.
- Tap the device you want to adjust, select Settings, select Audio, then select Equalizer.
- Adjust Bass and Treble level.
Also, Google Assistant might not respond properly when you say “Hey Google” or “Ok Google,” particularly in a noisy environment. Retraining your Nest Hub and adjusting the Hotword sensitivity may be helpful with the issue. You may follow the steps on these help articles:

Basically the same as 1st gen
Unless you watch Netflix or use the sleep monitoring feature. This thing is really no different than the 1st gen. I bought it thinking it had a camera (since it was 2nd generation and all). But nope, it still doesn't have a camera...

Good device. Recommend.
Much better than the Gen 1, which was glitchy and unreliable. I've had the Gen 2 about a month now and there have been no issues. It does exactly what its described to do.

Gen 2 Nest Hub
I am very happy with all my Goggle products. They provide me with all the information I ask for and also play the music I request. I use the Hub Nest as a Photo Album showing the pictures I have set up making it easier to show them instead of not having enough space on my walls.
