Good price for good new product
We already have Nest cameras so didn’t need the eye cameras, but the price for the hub was best around. I like other Wyze products and was comfortable dealing with the company.

Love it
The Google Nest Hub has added a new dimension. I live far from family, and the ever changing photos make them feel more accessible. Love convenience of various ways to set nest thermostat. All the extras are a delight

It's a'ight...
Works just like my (much older) Lenovo 10" Smart Display, and that's not a bad thing. The "Home" interface has greatly improved over time, but still has some rather frustrating flaws. Although the issues are purely software related, I feel it's fair to consider it in reviewing the hardware as it's a Google product.I can't speak to the sleep tracking as I am using this o...

Setting up photos to display is hard
Have had a difficult time to set up photos displayed on my second gen hub. Photos seem to be random and haven't figured out how to do specific photos yet

Good device
I think that the Nest Hub is a worthwhile purchase for any connected home. I like most of the features and only have an issue with 2 things. One, I really wish it had the ability to provide the most basic functions when the connection is down. Two, the sleep tracking is cool but I don't know why it's an eventual subscription service. Why? Overall, it's a good device and...

Love it
It's so handy! It's right next to my chair in the living room. I can see who's at the front door and talk to them. I can adjust the thermostat. I can get the weather with nice graphics. It answers any question along with a graphic that might pop into my head. It manages my shopping list. It's such a handy gadget!

Voice recognition doesn’t work
Replaced my Lenovo branded google home with this one in hopes having a third mic would improve voice recognition. It is actually worse on this.

Response from Staples :
Hi John, we appreciate your feedback about your Nest Hub (2nd gen). We’re sorry to hear that it didn’t meet your expectations with the voice recognition.
If you haven’t tried yet, we suggest retraining your Nest Hub (2nd gen) with the Voice Match, especially if you have other family members sharing your Nest Hub (2nd gen). You can try these outlined steps:
- Open the Google Home app on your mobile phone or tablet.
- At the top right, tap your account.
- Verify that the Google Account shown is the one linked to your speaker or display. To switch accounts, tap another account or Add another account.
- Tap Assistant settings > Voice match > Add devices.
- Make sure any devices you want to link your voice to are checked.
- Tap Next, I agree.
- Follow the in-app steps.
- To get your personal information, you must turn on Personal results. - Tap I agree and proceed with the Voice match setup.
- To invite others to set up Voice Match for tailored results, tap Invite, choose your communication method, and send the invite. To skip this step, tap No, thanks.
Also, Google Assistant might not activate when you say “Hey Google” or “Ok Google,” particularly in a noisy environment. And Google Assistant might activate even if you don't say “Hey Google” or “Ok Google” when it detects something that sounds similar. Nifty
Very cool product. I bought two displays and use one next to my bed to help track sleep. I wish the screen was slightly bigger but with Google assistant telling you things anyways this is something I overlook. We have Phillips hue and a nest learning thermostat and they all conveniently work together in the home app. Recommend it if you're even considering one!

Nest hub second gen.
The device works well. It's helpful. I would only suggest adding a larger screen option that doesn't include a camera. I would like a larger screen for my guest bedroom, but I would rather not have a camera attached to it for privacy concerns. Otherwise, works as advertised.
