Good price for good new product
We already have Nest cameras so didn’t need the eye cameras, but the price for the hub was best around. I like other Wyze products and was comfortable dealing with the company.

Sleep analysis not working
Sleep analysis is hit and miss. I will sleep 8 hours and it tells me only only slept for 3. Sometimes I didn't sleep at all.

Response from Staples :
Hi Andrew Adolph, we appreciate your feedback. We’re sorry to hear that you’re having an issue with the Sleep Sensing feature of your Nest Hub (2nd gen).
Sleep calibration uses your breathing motion to locate how far away you are from your Nest Hub while you’re sleeping. Your Nest Hub placement and nearby people, pets, or noises can cause inaccurate readings. We suggest checking the steps below that might help:
- Remove any objects between you and the display screen.
- Check that your Nest Hub is within 1 foot (30 cm) of the height of your mattress, and that it’s within arm’s reach and facing your torso when you’re lying in bed.
- Check for moving objects like fans, rocking chairs, and swaying curtains. Make sure nothing else in the room is moving while Sleep Sensing is calibrating. While you’re asleep, moving objects should be farther away from Nest Hub than you are, even if they’re not blocking the screen.
To help Nest Hub distinguish between you and co-sleepers, recalibrate Sleep Sensing when no one else is in the room, including pets:
- On your Nest Hub display screen, swipe up from the bottom.
- Tap Settings > Sleep Sensing > Calibrate device > follow the steps.
If unresolved, we’d like to learn more and help you further with this. Please reach out to our support team using this link: https://support.google.com/googlenest/gethelp

Hi Bert, thanks for letting us know your experience with your Nest Hub (2nd gen). We apologize for the inconvenience this issue has caused you. We hear you.
There can be several factors that might cause this issue. We suggest these troubleshooting steps that might help:
- Weak or congested networks. Removing some of your connected devices may help relieve congestion.
- Check for possible sources of interference such as microwave ovens, refrigerators or other equipment.
- If you have a dual band router, try setting up Nest Hub on either the 2.4GHz or 5GHz bands and see which band is more stable.
If the issue persists, we suggest performing a factory data reset on your Nest Hub. Here's the step by step guide: https://support.google.com/googlenest/answer/7073477

Nothing works like the sleep sense. Tried different portions and still won’t work. The best i can do is watch YouTube videos or listen to music when I’m trying to sleep which isn’t what I’m trying to do.

My main complaint is there’s a noticeable lag when switching between tasks. I don't believe it's internet related either. I'm running 200 mbps.

Hi Adam, thanks for reaching out. We’re sorry to hear that you have difficulty playing Apple Music with your Nest Hub (2nd gen).
It would be helpful if you can link your music service as your default. This default service will be used first when possible. To listen to Apple Music on your speaker or display, you must link your Google Account with your Apple Music account.
