Black regular cartridge
I’ve had issues with the black link cartridge drying up too quickly before being used. I’ve had to replace the black ink cartridge in order for my HP printer to print because of the bad cartridge.

Excellent combo
Since color is used much less than black I like the package of XL black and standard tri-color.

Worked when ink I bought elsewhere did not
I bought ink online and after two tries all I got was dried ink that printed half a page. I went to Staples got ink and it prints like a dream- they don't ell expired ink! I am getting all my ink from now on at Staples

HP printer ink is not cheap. So I buy the XL cartridges and there is some money savings here. Besides XL lasts much longer which saves frequent trips to the store.
