Black regular cartridge
I’ve had issues with the black link cartridge drying up too quickly before being used. I’ve had to replace the black ink cartridge in order for my HP printer to print because of the bad cartridge.

HP65XL/65 Black & Tri Color Ink Cartridge
I like the combo pack since I use both the black and color ink cartridges but I wish the color cartridge was in XL also. Good quality and lasts a long time.
