Black regular cartridge
I’ve had issues with the black link cartridge drying up too quickly before being used. I’ve had to replace the black ink cartridge in order for my HP printer to print because of the bad cartridge.

Hi,
I am sorry for this situation. When you print only occasionally there can be two things that could shorten the life of our cartridge. The first is if you leave the printer on continuously. The maintenance routine that keeps the inkjet nozzles clear will use up a little ink each time. That can add up.
The other is if you turn the printer off between uses. The power button on the printer itself MUST be used to turn the printer off. That allows the printer time to position itself so that the printhead on the cartridge is protected from excess drying. Left exposed, the tiny nozzles in the printhead will clog and not allow ink through. The automatic cleaning routine from the printer menu can fix that, but it uses up much ink to do it.

Best Idea Ever
I have used this service for my last two printers. I really like that I do not need to worry about running out of ink. I always have a new one when I get down to the last part of the cartridge.
