Black regular cartridge
I’ve had issues with the black link cartridge drying up too quickly before being used. I’ve had to replace the black ink cartridge in order for my HP printer to print because of the bad cartridge.

Lack of instruction and slow replacements.
The ink took too long to come in. It is difficult to load and to get it to print.

Works great
The regular size ink cartridge works good. In the pass I have bought the XL but have never had any of them stay usable for the whole amount of ink in the product. The cartridge always went bad before it was empty. But all the regular size ones worked fine.

Faulty ink cartridge
I have ordered before and delivery and ink cartridges were fine, however this last time the black ink cartridge would not install properly; the tri-color cartridge was fine. I’m not sure how to return and reorder, so just drove to a local store to purchase a new one.

Smearing ink
Ink will not dry on photos. Smears after 2 hrs. of drying time.

I am sorry to hear about the smearing ink. Printing photos can be tricky but two hours is a very long time to dry. I can add some best practices on printing photos below.
- Maintain dry air in the room. Humidity causes photos to stay wet.
- Photos print best on HP photo paper with inkjet printers.
- Higher resolution photographs result in clear, more vibrant prints.
-After printing, put a fan on a low setting to gently dry the photos.
- Use photo editing settings in the printer to improve colors and appearance settings.
- Avoid printing a large volume of photos at once. This increases the chance of ink residue on the printhead causing a smear.
