Quality HP Ink
The HP 62XL black and white and Tri-Color is the only ink I use for my HP printer. Always good quality printing and the XL cartridge does last a long time with normal printing use. It is unfortunately they have not found a way to make it more affordable.

What I really wanted...
I really wanted the XL version of this cartridge. However my local Staples does not stock it on a routine basis. They said my printer is too old to stock these cartridges. I guess I will have to try my luck on-line next time.

INTRUSIVE TECHNOLOGY ... SAVE ME $’s Instead
HP is constantly intruding with ink reminders. Superfluous reminders cost money to design and manage. I personally know when I’m out of ink. I keep a safety stock as well. I’d rather have a lower price. Furthermore having HP monitor my computer is a bit disconcerting. To your purpose however you have a good product ... noisy but good (lots of clanking and grin...
