#62 2-pack ink cartridges
I printed 25 color pages with the new cartridges and they are already low and not printing the color properly. Didn't have this problem with prior cartridges.

I'm sorry that you didn't have a good experience with the cartridges. Perhaps you were printing things that are high resolution. They use up ink more quickly.
When appropriate, use the printer's draft mode to save on both black and colored inks and consider getting Instant Ink. The subscription plans are based on how many pages you print. You can check out the details at: HPinstantink.com
You can avoid some of the ink usage by turning the printer off when it is not in use. One caution about that. It is important that the printer is turned off using the power button on the printer itself. That will let the printer 'park' so that the printhead is protected from excess drying. That will cause clogs to form in the tiny nozzles that spray the ink onto the paper.
If it ever appears that poor performance is due to a defect, please return it. The return and exchange process is covered, step-by-step, at:
