Works great with Cork and leather while cutting
I use this for cutting out any of my substrates that need that extra hold without taping the product into place.
Very pleased with this transfer tape, I use it on my cricut mats, smooth side down, to hold leather material and cork material in place while cutting, without having to tape

Too strong
I do have to admit, even though I had read what this was used for in regards for the vinyl "type" - I had no idea it would destroy regular vinyl. I had ordered 2 extra rolls of this to cut a window sign for a client's business and felt awful when they told me they spent hours trying to apply it to their door - that the vinyl would not stick to the glass because the tran...

One piece can do the heavy lifting!
One piece can be used over and over to lift and replace vinyl layers. I will be buying more. Worked great for repeated use as I made name-stickers/labels for all my daughters friends and classmates.

Too much of a grip!
I found this very frustrating to use for what I was using it for. I go with the standard grip, it my preference. Maybe I’ll need a stronger grip later, I’m still learning. I originally used it for printable vinyl labels.

Great for holding leather
When used with the standard grip mat, the strong grip tape is great for holding leather to my mat. Removal is easy and leaves me standard mat clean.

DO NOT BUY
This transfer tape will not release the vinyl onto my project. I had to peel the vinyl off the tape using multiple tools, stretching and tearing the vinyl. It left a sticky residue all over the vinyl AND the surface o was transferring to. DO NOT BUY.

Garbage of a Product
Absolute garbage transfer tape!! It should be a special order for the only 2 products it’s compatible with, otherwise it will ruin any other vinyl you try and use with it. Huge waste of money. Will never use this product again! Also, the packaging should say very clearly that it is only useful with the glitter and shimmer vinyl and a “do not use with normal vinyls”, not...

Works great with glitter
Great when transferring glitter vinyl- did a project with removable glitter vinyl and this was the only transfer material that would grip it.

Some Clarification Would Help
It’s too strong for regular vinyl. I spent too long peeling away and cleaning up residue from the transfer tape for a project that I couldn’t just redo. The reviews for this product might be better if there was some clarification on the package stating that this is best used with glitter or shimmer vinyls. Terrible.
Idk what to call this but definitely not transfer tape because it transfers to absolutely nothing. It just sticks to itself and ruins my projects.

Difficult
I bought the strong grip hoping it worked for the Joy Shimmer vinyl. Compared to two other brands I tried first, the StrongGrip lifted the cut vinyl without too much trouble, but transferring the cut vinyl to my project was very difficult. Ruined items
While this product does remove the vinyl from the sheet well because it comes prewrapped/wrapped around a tube, it has tons of air bubbles already on it and it's attached to a backing already. When I used this and tried to lift the tape off, my decals came with it and wouldn't stick or only partially stuck to my surface. Which it turn meant my decal was ruined.

First Timer
My first time using this product. I did use it on glitter/shimmer vinyl. It did transfer well onto the glass. My only issue was getting the vinyl to stick to the transfer tape. I had a just a few small little points that I had to go back and re-scrape just so the tape would pick it up. I would NOT recommend this for super intricate details and cuttings.
