What I got was a return to Staple to make the return as it was way too complicated to hook up.

Just what I wanted
I wanted a router that did not require a cloud account login so could be managed locally could have the wireless on a schedule and even control the wireless power output. At the same time it needed to handle the speeds available through the ISP. This router checked all of the boxes. I'm very pleased.

Does not support internet VoIP
My VoIP phone adapter quit working after I stalled the Archer AX1800. I contacted their technical support and was informed the router was intended for VoIP VLAN and not internet VoIP.
