From the description, I expected uncoated note cards. These have a glossy finish on them, which to me is not uncoated. That's not a terrible thing, unless you have trouble writing without smearing on the coated cardstock and were really looking for matte-finished ones.
I'll still use these, but will also keep looking for the ones I really wanted.
