I would agree, Conair is missing the boat and should be providing replacement blades with the sale of the shaver. Mine is still working after a year and did a good job, but the blade is worn out and Conair doesn't sell REPLACEMENT BLADES!! Wasn't able to locate any replacements blades anywhere else either. No replacement blades fit!!!

NO REPLACEMENT BLADES. BEEN LOOKING FOR AT LEAST A YEAR. SPENT A LOTOF MONEY ON GENERIC BLADES CANT FIND ANY THAT FIT!

Worth every penny!!

Not only did it do a great job at “shaving” the pulling from my cashmere sweaters or cotton sweater shirts, but it saved my socks!! I love these compression ankle socks and have several pairs, but they collect tons of pills, lint and everything in the dryer. This shaver took that all off! Be sure to follow instructions, and start with the highest pile setting first.

Completely stopped working after a few months

Worked fine until it died after 3 months (yes, I replaced the batteries).

It looks like a deal, but it's not worth it.

As many others have noted, this works for about 20 minutes and then will never work again. No matter how many times you change the batteries and/or let it sit.
And it's not even worth returning it under Connair's limited warranty - the buyer pays the cost out and back. Really bad product.

AND THERES NOWHERE TO BUY THEM ANYWHERE ELSE!!!

NEED REPLACEMENT BLADES!!!

I bought the Conair fabric shaver over two years ago because it's a trusted brand name and I've had great luck with products over the years. Alas, I haven't been able to use this fabric shaver since then as the blades dulled rather quickly. Why on earth would you make such a nice product but NO REPLACEMENT BLADES????? This is so wasteful.

Don’t waste your money.

Only had this a few hours and only ran it for about half an hour max. At first I thought the batteries were dying and fast, but lo and behold, it was the unit. I know it’s a cheap purchase but I was hoping it wasn’t built cheap too. Lint trap was way too small and after about half an hour of non-continuous workload it no longer turns on.

good for small area

works, well, does the job. but would NOT recommend it if you have large areas.
needs to be cleaned out very often which makes the job take time.

Great little tool

I’ve never owned one of these devices. I am impressed and am happy with it. With fall approaching, I am eager to use it on some of my sweaters. I care for my clothes very carefully by hand washing and not putting in the dryer. Regardless of my best efforts, some do show a tiny bit of wear. I trust this is going to make them look as good as new.

Works great!

My "play" sweaters are now as good as my good sweaters. So so much easier than a brush, razor, or sticky tape! Just need to keep the blades clean by taking off the lint-catcher periodically and running the device a few seconds over a trash can to blow the lint out of the interior.

Conair Fabric Shaver-Fantastic- It Really Works!

I have this shaver for only a few weeks, but i used it as soon as i got it. i was amazed at how terrific it worked. i had a pair of leggings, that i thought for sure i would have to throw out. they were that badly pulled. however, i used my Conair Fabric Shaver on them & now i have a brand new pair of leggings. This shaver works miracles!

Bought for sweaters, ended up using it on others

Bought this after reading on Reddit that it removes pills and makes sweaters look better. Well, I bought it and it really improved the look and feel of my winter sweaters. I ended up trying it out on an older hoodie. Cleaning it up made it look good as new.
Now I've used it on everything that needs a touch-up; pajamas, pants, blankets, comforters, sweatshirts, linens...
