The best decision ever made
I got the Orbi 970 2-pack system. Upgraded from Linksys Velop 7 Pro. This is the best decision I ever made. The system is easy to set up, and the speed is AMAZING! Loved. Thanks, Netgear!

Mesh Mess
Limited control over the functions of the router; you have to pay, monthly, to keep the mesh function.

The best decision ever made

Worth the expense
I work remotely and am on conference calls almost all day long and I was having stability issues with my wifi and did a lot of research and ended up selected the orbi 979 quad band.... That device has significantly reduced my retransmissions and provided seemless service without drops or jitter... I hesitated to spend the money but man I'm glad I did..... Not looking ba...

Nothing changed
Upgraded to 2Gbps internet service but saw no change in performance relative to RBE50. Support is investigating.

Doesn't work and ZERO support
Device doesn't work. Drops packets and interrupt video call at least once a day and need to reboot router every time. Super expensive for such an expensive device.

We love our new ORBI 970! We recently purchased it to replace our old ORBI that reached end of life. Our two pack (router and satellite) easily covers our 3000 SF condo.

Easy Peazy
I had a little trouble getting setup, but the orbi system resolved my situation without any frustration on my part. Basically, I got stuck and stepped away for about an hour expecting to tackle the setup and to my surprise everything was working. Great engineering!

Terrible Performance and Stability
Terrible. Got this to improve connectivity to outdoor security cameras. Their connections are far worse than with the standard BT router and a cheap extender. The Orbi frequently goes down and stops advertising its SSID. This is a small house and given the high cost plus satellite, it's the most pathetic over price load of rubbish I've ever wasted money on.

Premium System Gives Premium Performance.
Recently dumped Xfinity for Glofiber 2.5 gb so needed a more capable mesh and I’m very satisfied. Extremely fast, no lag whatsoever, and that’s with 7 people streaming all around the house. Wi-fi is intermittent
My Orbi 970 (2-pack) arrived 7 days ago. I have very fast Ting fiber and all of my hardwired devices have worked non-stop but this week the Wi-fi on my Orbi 970 has turned itself off many times. It seems stable now but will be calling support if it happens again.
