No frills workhorse
This machine is easy to thread and use. There is a learning curve. Once mastered it makes hemming circle skirts or anything easy.

For me is too expensive, when i decided to buy it the main purpose was to sew the neckline, but surprise !! the foot was not included, my error never find a review about this, the feet are very, very expensive, the other problem is whatever i put the thread release number is too tight in the number 1 needle, i change thread and nothing, i am not satisfied, in fact i reg...

Ok for the price.
Adequate for the price. Stitch setting are ready, threading fairly easy, but removing the fabric from the machine is difficult, needs improvement. Had to go online to get some tips for removal as the manual did not fit explain. Would probably go to a higher end model if I were to purchase again.

Need Easier Way to Get Tension Right
I'm still eager to put this machine to work but struggling with the tension.
There really needs to be a better way to get the tension settings figured out right away. It seems to be a delicate balance. I'm watching all the videos I can find and practicing on a variety of fabrics but have not found the sweet spot yet.

Great machine
I received this as a retirement gift and am enjoying it immensely. The initial learning curve was pretty steep, but now I feel like an old pro at it. As they say, practice makes perfect. Love this machine
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This cover stitch machine is great! I have not had any issues with it and you can even bind edges easily with the attachment. Hemming is a breeze!

Easy to use for simple beginner
We have 5 kids in the house and started using this to repurpose clothes theyve outgrown. We dont have much experience so we opted for a CV instead of a regular sewing machine. Simple custom stitches!!
When I first got this I never thought it would be so easy to create custom stitching on multiple fabrics! Easy to thread and the foot petal did all of the work! I have since played with colors and different styles and each one is as flawless as the first! Highly recommended!!

Great addition to my craft room
I received this product free from brothers in exchange for my honest review. I love sewing for my kiddos and wanted something that could keep my hems clean. The easy threading system is a huge plus for me. I only do small projects at this point but I am really impressed with how professional my makes look. Looking forward to making baby clothes now for friends.

Perfect Stitching

Great sewing machine

Great machine
The Brother 2340CV Cover stitch machine is wonderful. It's easy to setup and comes with a color coded threading guide. The settings allow you to adjust the speed of your materials coming through the machine which is very helpful. It makes beautiful stiches and is easy to use. Amazing
Like seriously this thing is amazing it does it all! Even with me being a beginner this is so easy to use, to put together, and to get used to it. It easily does the job for me with hemming or a simple stitch. Love it!

Easy to use
I have been finding myself at home a lot more these days and sewing to keep myself busy. The Brother 2340CV Serger has been making my hemming and serging so much easier .The machine is packaged well in box. Great Product
I have a regular sewing machine, but I was never able to lock any designs or create new clothes from raw fabric from it. This device is a little hard to understand at first, but it is very useful and is really a necessary machine if you are always using a sewing machine or want to create clothes from raw fabric.
