Linksys EA8300 Max-Stream AC2200 Tri-Band Router
I got this router 2 days ago and I could not wait to set it up and see if it lived up to the speeds it promised. I was not disappointed. This is the fastest router I have ever owned. We have 2 ROKUS, 2 cell phones, 2 laptops, and a smart TV connected to the wireless side and a desktop computer that is hard wired to the router. I was very impressed with the download spee...

Great while it worked!
I purchased this router to replace an older Linksys because I needed a stronger signal to reach all of our house. The Linksys was somewhat difficult to set up, but I attributed that to my lack of knowledge. It worked very well for a month, but then it quit. All attempts to reboot, reset, etc. resulted in total failure although it would occasionally work for a few minute...

Excellent Router!
I have had this router for a year now and it has made all the difference in connectivity and speed. Without it, I had very bad lagging and poor connectivity with my new 1GB internet connection. I was not able to access the speed and bandwidth until I hooked up this router with the help of excellent technical support. I really like the software interface as well. It has ...

Easy Peasee Nice 'n Easy
I purchased this online from a trusted retailer. No cable modem attachment. No worries for me, as FIOS had run an ethernet connection, at the time of installation.
Please know that this modem was the final step in me cutting the cable, and subscribing a-la-carte services.
I have trusted Linksys over the years and was pleased to find a rock-bottom price.

Excellet Router
I am extremely pleased with this router. I purchased it in the USA and I am currently using it in Brazil. It has an extremely strong and stable signal and the speeds are consistent with the speeds I receive from my ISP (Fiber Optic Service).
I have owned this router for a little more than a year. Very happy with it!!!

DO NOT BUY
I spent a little more on this router thinking it would last and perform better than the cheaper ones. I was wrong, After the 1 year, no warranty and the router failed. Linksys said they cannot offer any help and that I was SOL.

Rock Solid
Performing flawlessly for 3 years now. Its the Linksys reliability that I know and love. To be honest, I forget that its even there as I have zero issues with its uptime, and never have the need to reset it.

EA8300
I bought this router a while ago and it has been a great upgrade to the old Linksys router. Works very well in my house and has great signal strength as to date. Have used Linksys as my router for a lot of years they work well. Only problem has been using extenders.

Excellent product with opportunity of improvement
I bought mine on 12/16/2019 to replace a WRT 1900ACS I had been using for almost 4 years. As a software developer, business analyst, and youTube streamer, here are my honest takes on this:
The good:
1 - Smaller than the WRT 1900ACS
2 - Lighter in weight
3 - Identical user interface, which makes it easy to use because it is already familiar
4 - Fast response
5 - Fast s...

new to me
Took a chance and picked this up at a garage sale, checked online for setup which suggested Linksys Smart wifi account. Got it all up and running in less than 15 minutes. Will review again in a month about performance.

Easy set up, Not so good Signal Strength
Replaced an older (not THAT old) Linksys EA 6900 with hopes of better/faster connections. Unfortunately my old device performs better than the newer MU-MIMO device. It is located in same space as last device, but I can't seem to get the same signal strength/speeds as my old device

Keeps assigning bad IP addresses
Multiple devices on my home network get assigned IP address on a different subnet (my sub net is 192.168.2.x; assigned addresses are 192.168.10.x). those devices then do not have internet connectivity. Rebooting the router fixes it for a short time.
The latest firmware upgrade did not fix it. I have version 1.1.4.191539

Lacks features. Dumbed down router.
It doesn't even allow you to monitor traffic or create a VPN. What are we paying for anyway? Gimmicks I guess. Overpriced for what you get. I'm very disappointed and sorry I bought this.

Dropped connections and extreme packet loss!
Recently, my ISP doubled my speed so I thought it was a good time to update my router. I had been using a WRT1900AC for a number of years and did not have any issues. Since the WiFi reception was not great in some areas in our second level I decided to go with the EA8300 router paired with the RE9000 extender. I set this up over the holidays. I used a standard out-of-th...
