I did not realize it came with black ink only. How do I get colored ink? I am having trouble getting it to print. It might be the slow internet we are all experiencing. The fax button comes on often I cannot get it to go off. Maybe you can help me. Thank you.

sucks
if you want to print a large envelope, you have to go to the back of the machine make a change and then to the fount of the machine. How dumb is that.

A bargain vs ink jet
This all in one does the jobs but cost is still high using their admittedly better toner and such. Not as bad per page as ink jets… read the directions carefully - also Brother has cut back their live customer service FYI

goes to sleep, won't print
I wanted to love this printer (my previous printer was a Brother and this one has all the features I was looking for), however, after a month or so, it started going into "deep sleep" mode and then it wouldn't print. Its a good solid printer. The scanner is subpar though. After a while, it slows down considerably.

Brother printers are becoming too controlling
They try to sell too many toner cartridges by not allowing old half used cartridges to be reused. I purchased the same model (MFC-L2710DL) that died early to mid-cartridge and when the original toner cartridge that came with the new machine ran out, it would not accept the almost new cartridge from the old printer, it would not accept it.

Dissapointed
We were hoping for a quick 2 sided copy feature with the button on the top panel. Unfortunately, there are many steps to get a 2-sided copy as this printer does not take the original from the top automatic feed tray. We are using the old printer we have more often as a result. Copies are clear though.

Great Printer
It was easy to set up with Wi-Fi. It’s been working great. Glad I bought it. I hot tired of my old hp printer that cost a fortune in ink. The laser printer is more cost efficient. Happy

Excellent (so far)
Relatively easy to set up but I have had some experience with Brother printers in the past. Been doing a lot of scanning with it and it’s worked very well. Printing from Mac computer, iPhone and iPad has worked well. Stability to home wireless network has been great unlike the Previous HP printer I just deep sixed.

Love my new Brother laser printer. Print is very clear, easy to use, prints 2 sided paper, etc. Does everything as listed.

A Real Workhorse
The Brother Printer MFC-L2710DW is a great little printer. We purchased our first one 4 or 5 years ago and it is still working flawlessly. Purchased another one last week and it is easy to set up and use. Both are working wirelessly and are used for print, copying and scanning. Not much need for fax.
