not worth it
Thought this would be a great tool for my husband when he reads the paper but too much distortion and flare from this fresnel magnifier that shoots off from the center to one corner. Not worth it. Going to return it.

I can see how this magnifier might help to view individual sheets but it didn't work at all with a bound book. Guess I'll need an old-fashioned magnifying glass.

Cumbersome
The biggest problem is the glare reflection which makes this item nearly useless. I thought the size would be easier for reading a small print book but I was wrong. I'll be returning this one for something smaller.

More convenient than a handhold magnifying glass because you don’t have to move it around much. But less fine precise focused.

You can't lay it on the page you want to magnify
It'sw very hardd to find objects to raise the magnifier 2" all around.

Magnifying sheet
Unfortunately the magnifier didn’t magnify as well as I thought it would. But what I needed magnified was extremely small in font. I needed something more powerful like a magnifying sheet or glass that was times 50 in strength and not one that was only 2 times. So not the magnifiers fault.

This is a good product. It is a bit cumbersome to use because it needs to be held slightly above the page to magnify thus holding the book and the magnifying sheet isn’t ideal
