Microphone did not work
Took it back. Wasted another 6 hours of my life trying to get the mic to work. Tried a bunch of apps, system settings. Nothing. Logitech support was useless. Their software is all over the map. No way to easily plug, test and play. Had enough of cheap technology that wastes your time.

Great so far
Works great so far. There was bit of confusion when using apps that used a microphone because settings would change to the webcam microphone when I did not want to use it but I sorted it out.

Logitech C922 webcam
Finally I used the webcam Saturday May 8th and it worked so well. I am very happy with it. Only regret is that I should have made the purchase at the beginning of the Pandemic instead of using my small cell phone and my tablet. This worked out much better. and I could see and hear the other participants. Glad that I finally made the purchase and I would recommend it...

I love my new Logitech C922. Easy to use and beautiful color. I especially love the "capture" ap that needs to be downloaded. This gives me a zoom lens that is useful for some of my projects. I either misplaced or couldn't locate any directions but they can be found on-line. I do a lot with zoom and the camera works very well for this. I'm not an expert on cameras ...

The C922 is a significant upgrade from the onboard camera on my Macbook. The trade off of the basic 'no frills' lack of bells and whistles is more than offset by the quality of the most important feature - the clarity of the visual reproduction. Exactly what I needed for video - a webcam that I could put on my own tripod and tilt exactly as far as necessary. I tried to use the microphone as well but the quality was not quite good enough. Overall very satisfied with purchase.
