Microphone did not work
Took it back. Wasted another 6 hours of my life trying to get the mic to work. Tried a bunch of apps, system settings. Nothing. Logitech support was useless. Their software is all over the map. No way to easily plug, test and play. Had enough of cheap technology that wastes your time.

Good but the software needs major fixes
The camera itself is quite good but it has some horrible issues with the latest version of Windows. Most of the time when I use the camera it comes up with errors that it's being used by another device but there is nothing that I can find. Reinstalled, restarted, etc etc. Nothing seems to work. I use the camera on an older laptop now. I've had nothing but frustratio...

Logitech C922 performs as needed
Given that webcams are the new toilet paper I was glad to find this reputable name brand webcam for the price. I don't ask much from it just enough to function through a Zoom meeting so I can't speak to its sophistication or utility compared to other makes/models. The little tripod is nice and stable though it has to be placed on another object like a box or pile ...

Higher pricetag. Unexpected value.
This webcam was not the webcam I was intending to purchase. I intended to buy the $50.00 Logitech webcam. My local Staples store did not have the $50.00 webcam on the shelf due to COVID-19 supply shortages. So I went with this. It's twice what I intended to pay. Did not work for me!
the Staples Tech has had it over a week now and has not figured how to install it. I have used every possible upgrade that money can by but at the time of this Review it has not worked. One good thing however my computer is upgraded and I will use my iphone as the camera.

Great quality image
Replaces my 20+ year old web cam and this is a HUGE improvement. Great quality image. People on the other end of Zoom and Skype noted how much better the image is.

Works well
Well aside from the fact that Apple and Logitech seem not work in tandem this camera works well. In order to be able to manually control its various features on at least my iMac one needs also an app such as Manual Camera and then it does just what I had hoped allowing for adjustment of zoom pan tilt brightness contrast etc...
