I've always purchased original equipment replacement for my Laser Jet printer and I have never had a problem. Once installed, you get confirmation back from HP that your purchase is protected by HP Warranty. A little expensive, but cartridges last me almost a year.

Printer set up for another couple of years.
While the price may seem high, the quality of print and the number of pages achieved easily makes the use of a laser printer worthwhile.
No wasted ink cleaning heads and the print is waterproof.
Delivery is first class and being able to return empty units for re-cycling at no cost is an added bonus.

Printer Driver no longer allow printer to scan
Bought a new ink cartridge and at the same time, my computer update the software for the printer. Now my scanner does not work because its says printer is too old and not compatible. HP is trying to force people to buy new printers by updating their drivers to no longer support old printer. What a scam!
