Proprietary money grab!
The printer will stop working if you don’t print a lot. They have a chip in the cartridge that will stop the printer from working. Even if you still have ink. I had to throw out thee cartridges that still had ink.

Yellow cartridge faulty.
The yellow from the ink I just ordered is already running out. I rarely print in color. It should last me at least a year. This happened with the last order too.

Hello Phyllis,
You expect that cartridges last a year. Even if you don't use the printer frequently, many factors prevent colors from lasting that long. Most likely, your cartridge is just dry.
Try cleaning the copper contacts on the printhead. I also recommend you clean the print rollers. Restart the printer and reinsert the cartridge.
The other option you have is a return at www.hp.com/us-en/shop/cv/ReturnsandExchanges?id=page-return-exchange-policy/. I hope this doesn't happen again.

Ink is just crazy expensive
I always use HP cartridges but the price has gotten out of control. I think rather than buy new ink I’m just going to buy a printer. Cheaper.

Works Great too expensive
This ink works great for my printer however it is too expensive. I paid almost double for it this time which is ridiculous. Thinking of switching to another printer where the ink is less expensive.
