Too expensive
Way too expensive a gallon of paint cost twice as little. I know cartilages cost more let’s say 10.00 apiece that’s 30.00 ….over 50.00 for ink? Shame on you!!!!

Extreamly expensive
I fell like HP has us by our short hairs and are able to price gouge us.

high priced for no reason
Staples provides two things. Office products and high prices. Want to know why I don't often shop at Staples? I can get the same thing cheaper virtually everywhere else. The exception? Printer ink. So I have to buy it from Staples. They get one star for having what I need and another for being relatively close to my home. That's it.

Good quality ink
The ink quality is good the cartridges are easy to install and the XL version lasts a bit longer than the non-XL. The print quality is good depending on the paper used and photos come out great also. I just wish it wasn't so darn expensive. But what can we do? Go totally digital?

Very Expensive!
I had to purchase two replacement cartridges last week - over $100!!! Nice racket by HP - although I only print in black and white the printer won't work if ANY of the cartidges are empty.

Best Ink
We have been using hp print cartridges for our two printers for many years. Would not use any other.

It works but
It works but these printers are a complete rip off. I only print in black / white and the HP printer won't work if the color ink cartridges dry up.

Worth the extra cost
We have used both the standard capacity 950 and the 950XL. Although more expensive the 950XL prints so many more pages than even two regular 950 cartridges.

If you are still using a cartridge based inkjet printer then the extra cost up front for the XL cartridges makes sense. One is able to print so many more pages as compared to a regular 950 cartridge. But overall cost for cartridges is an issue.
