The quality has gone way down
I had some covers left in an old package and they are supposed to be the exact same thing. They are not. The new ones are as thin and flimsy as a sheet of paper. If I hadn't needed them right away, I would have shipped them back. I order GBC because they usually make quality products. Next time, I will try another brand.

GBC Soldis Standard Presentation Covers, Black 8 1/2 x 11, 50 per pack
My office has been using this product for a few years now & I have been told not to run out of them - everyone in the office uses these covers for the back of their presentations, proposals, studies, etc. I definitely give them a 5 star.

Quality product; have used with success
Quality cover for comb-bound books. I use this black cover for the back, and clear ones for the front. I wish the sheen were the same on both sides. It is a little dull on the one side, but has a nice satin sheen on the other.

You get what you pay for!
I used these for the back cover of a presentation (used clear on front) and they came out very well. They travelled well, held together, and could even be wiped clean with a damp rag. I will definitely buy them again.

hard like bound
this presentation cover is heavy duty be it binding small or large documents. and black color just gives it a classy type of presentation.

Good quality, but they're plastic
Quality presentation covers, but be warned they are plastic and rather hard on the GBC binding puncher's teeth. For that reason mostly, I would rather have heavy paper cardstock covers. Unfortunately, the Staples site does not specify the material of these types of covers in any of the product descriptions to assist with buying choices....
