CANON BCI 6 VALUE/BLACKCOLOR INK CARTRIDGES
IT IS NOT THE RIGHT SIZE, ( THE BLACK INK CARTRIDGE. IT IS A HALF SIZE ONE) I NEED A FULL SIZE ONE TO FIT AND FILL THE INK CAETRIDGE HOLDER ALONG WITH THE OTHER TWO , WHICH ARE HALF SIZE ONES. I TRIED TELLING THE PERSON AT THE STORE THIS. BUT THEY SAID THIS WOULD WORK. IT DOES NOT PRINT. ANY THOUGHTS. JIM.

The cartridges came quickly. Unfortunately I had to return them when it turned out that my printer was at fault. I bought a new printer from Staples and they took the cartridges in a return, along with the old printer for recycling.

I have been disappointed with my last 2 purchases of the BCI-3e black because I only get to print a 1/2 dozen pages of simple typing & my computer says I'm running low on ink. It has made me wonder if the ink cartridges aren't being filled anymore than 1/2 way at best. I'm sure your system shows what I've paid in the past. Pretty expensive cost for no more than 6 pages.

Hard to find
I have an older canon printer that I love and will use as long as it keeps working and I can find the ink for it. I have a new canon also but like the old one more. The ink is hard to find now and was happy to see Staples selling it again. Still very expensive but I can not refill with non canon ink because it ruins the print head. The ink cartridges are double the size...

Canon BC-3 Ink Cartridges
I always use the manufacturer's replacement ink cartridges. I find they work best in the long run. Have tried the generic ones but they didn't fit exactly right and leaked. Will not buy generic ever again.
