Good quality HP tri-color ink cartridge
I went to a Staples Store and the cashier, a very nice guy helped me order the ink cartridge online. The order arrived the next day and it was well packed. I installed the tri-color ink cartridge in my printer and it worked well.

Fit my old HP 2610 Photosmart All-Printer perfecty
I was looking for an HP 96 Black but found they were discontinued. Fortunately HP made the HP 94 which is compatible. I would not have known this had I not gone to Staples. Not Compatible

color pale price high
I had purchased a refilled cartridge some time ago from a third party which had a better ink color and much lower price. I was surprised that the cartridge made by HP had such bad ink quality.

Substitue for HP 96
The HP 98 black ink was a substitute for the impossible to obtain HP 96 ink. It worked fine in my HP 6940 printer though the ink isn't as rich a black as the HP 96 ink was.

Works Great
You expect ink cartridges to perform as one would expect them to perform. To paraphrase an old expression: ink cartridges should be seen and not heard. So it is with HP ink. They perform like they should perform.

In the past I've dropped off my empty cartridges to receive credit. When I asked the clerk if Staples was still doing that she didn't know anything about it. I am not happy with that service.

“Genuine” HP replacement cartridge not recognized.
Was not recognized by my 7210 Office Jet. Tried cleaning contacts on both the printer and cartridge. I reinserted the original cartridge and it was recognized. I would be a good idea for HP to have these tested before packaging for shipment. Very disappointing for an expensive cartridge.
