Broke on FIRST USE!!!
I was literally cutting paper, and these scissors BROKE the very first time I used them. One of the loops on the handle broke in half, so they are completely unusable. garbage.

The Westcott 7" pointed scissors are sharper than > 10 scissors I already have. I now instinctively grab them first if I have something that I needs to be cut with minimal effort.

Purple Stainless steel scissors
Our church is decorated in purple for Easter so when the Bishop came to celebrate the elevation of the cross he cuts small pieces of hair from new altar boys and I thought the purple scissors would be a nice touch.

Not so easy to use...
I got these scissors because I thought they would we easy to use. Not so. They are "stiff" -- by that I mean hard to open and close. I put a drop of oil on the pivot point and that helped a little but not much. The cutting edges seem to be sharp but the scissors are just hard to open and close.

Great design!
These high quality scissors fit my kindergarten students hands well. Safe yet pointy they are able to cut more precise with better results while they learn this skill. These scissors don’t dull quickly like other children’s sized scissors.
