Expensive metal ruler without markings on one end
A simple transparent plastic ruler would have been better.
This metal ruler doesn't go 'end-to-end' … one end has no ruler markings.

It is a ruler.
This ruler has all my favorite inches, from 1 to 12, and plenty of centimeters for anyone down with the metric. The cork on the bottom helps keep it from scratching the table, and could be scraped off for emergency kindling if needed.

This is an excellent ruler! the cork backing protects the surface of whatever it is placed on AND helps avoid ink smear on that surface.

Very good ruler
I was away from home and bought this ruler along with a Staedtler architect scale for some unexpected building addition drawings. I like the ruler a lot. It has a good heft to it and with cork on the bottom it stays in place for making lines. I even used the hole (for hanging the ruler) as a impromptu circle template for electrical receptacle and light symbols. Wish...

Excellent ruler
Rulers are a generic product that used to be given away as free by businesses. I like most people are used to inferior rulers. The Staedtler ruler is the Cadillac of rulers: well made with a sharp edge for cutting paper and of course easy-to-read, accurate measurements. I don't know of a better ruler

It's a nice little ruler
Fine ruler, works like a ruler is supposed too. Lol. There IS cork on the back so sometimes with certain uses you have to be more careful. I especially find this to be so if I use a fountain pen for something with it rather than ballpoint pen or pencil. Because the cork adds height.
