THANK YOU STAPLES!!!
It works with my printer. It's the best brand I know of and have used this brand exclusively. When I install a cartridge in my HP printer it acknowledges that it's the best brand.

Good product, but too pricey
This product delivers a high quality black and white print. Good for text and b/w graphics in documents. However, the price structure drives me crazy. These cartridges never seem to go on sale. Store-wide coupons usually specifically exclude these HP items. Sometimes a savings is offered if you purchase two HP toner cartridges, but the "deal" doesn't apply if you buy a ...

Page Yield Is Overstated
Based upon several years of experience with this MFC and HP original product I have closely tracked the output and it is always not less than 15-20% less than advertised. If I had not invested in these machines I would have switched to something else much sooner.

While our LaserJet 1022 printer has troubles getting an initial connection to newer computers (HP says they are compatible but the driver they provide does not always work in a newer Windows OS--it seems to be a registry glitch or something as ours was fixed by a 3rd party driver manager installation) the 12A cartridges are a breeze to change and the printer is more ...

Great Product!
Have owned this printer for 3 years the cartridges are true workhorses! Cartridge life keeps going I typically buy a cartridge every 12-14 mos.

Excellent Product
I have purchased HP inks and toner for years because they consistently give superior performance. My printed documents are crisp clear and professional with no ink smudges. Changing the cartridges is also usually quick easy and mess-free. The toner cartridges last forever so economically it's the absolute best choice.

12 a black toner cartridge
Each cartridge that I have used starts getting a black streak on the left side of the page long before the toner actually runs out. They are very easy to change and unless you open the door very clean. You can return the empty cartridges to Staples for credit on your next purchase
